That is so cool. I had a banty rooster that loved to cuddle and follow me all around. The previous owner would bring him into the house to watch TV. Most people would think a chicken wouldn't make a very good pet, but he was great.

makes me think, when I was a little girl, my grandfather, used to whistle to the birds and have them eat right from his hand. When he was in the house, he had a parakeet that would sit on his shoulder until it was bedtime and he would go in his cage. He drank coffee from a little thimble, when grandma and grandpa had coffee and would march on the floor with my grandfather to German music
You seem to possess that gentle nature with birds and animals.
