I am going to visit my brother next week. He lives in Summerville, just outside of Charleston. Any good quilt shops in the area?

I was there last week. What a fantastic city!!!
I love People Places and Quilts. I bought a pattern dedicated to Eliza Pinckney, one of my personal heroines. They didn't have a kit there so they mailed me one from their other shop. They have lots of original Chaleston items including a Battery Row wallhanging. The shop isn't big, but the fabrics are very well selected and the people are delightful.

I checked out the website for People Places and Quilts - it looks like a great store!

Summerville SC is one of the prettiest towns I have ever seen, at least in the springtime, and we have traveled all over the lower 48. Have a good time!!
