I stopped at the store today and picked up some cat food and they had a display of holiday pet clothing. Little santa suits and stuff... so cute!!

I got my cat a sweater. I got it on her... and I'm still alive to tell about it!

She is not happy with me!

Look at her expression :) It's priceless. I once put a sweater on my cat, blu, and he would only walk backwards. He got out of it - I believe he had help from his furry siblings......I got the message.

She looks pissed. Has she clawed the sofa to pieces yet?

That sweater looks a bit snug, if you wash it, I wonder if it would become mouse size......lol

It only looks snug because she has her winter coat, it's not tight. After a few minutes she didn't seem to have a problem with it and wasn't trying to get out of it. She did walk all slunk down at first. :D

I wouldn't go to sleep tonight, if I were you. She does not appear too pleased with her new sweater. Perhaps a bite of tuna would appease her. LOL!

pittsburgpam, i am in hysterics. that is one p---ed cat.

i currently am fostering 5 feral cats, have had them for about 4mo. can't imagine trying this with them even though they are now very docile. thanks for the laugh.

Awww, she liked it fine I think. :) She was laying on the couch next to me asleep in it.

My daughter has a little dog that she puts clothes on and the dog just runs over and patiently lets her put them on her. You can just see that she loves it and prances around.

Those pics are a hoot; especially the first one with cat looking at you out of the corner of her eye. Then your lighting in the second.

In this household the JRT will wear a piece of clothing for a while then chews on. The cat much older [9 years] just knows when I am trying to put it on her. She has no tolerance. Merry Christmas!
