Default Peter Painter in Holland's Magazine

Looking for some help here. When I was a kid my gramma had a scrapbook style collection of the Peter Painter stories she'd cut out of magazines in the 30's or so.

That book got lost after my gramma died, and I'd like to, at least, find those stories again.

what were the stories like? I found some things under that name but it was more about crime. Tried again and couldn't find much. Have you tried at your local Library? Just a thought.

They were about a little elf with a set of magic paint pots. My cousin was more into them than I was, I'm trying to find the collection again as a surprise gift to her, since it's looking like the book our gramma had has disappeared.

I DID find something on amazon about him, but I don't know if that's all the stories or not.

Frank Martin Webber is associated with some of these stories. Maybe google his name and see what comes up.

It is so sad that the stories "disappeared". Not familiar with the stories or the author. I would start researching the Library of Congress.
