My daughter told me a couple days ago that her kids were all outside playing. 6 year old and 2 year old twins. She had run in the house for a minute and the 6 year old came running in so excited she couldn't talk! She thought something had happened to one of the twins. Daughter went running out and across the drive stodd the 2 year old boy, staring face to face with a deer. She said they weren't 5 feet apart....and the deer was just looking at him like "what the heck is this?"
She said nothing spooked the deer. All through the excitement of Alyssa running into the house, then her and Lois running back out, the deer just stood there staring at Johnathan.

Have to share. A neighbor's son (35) died of heart failure. A month later, a deer appeared in his backyard. John and I named him "Baby". John fed him bird seed and corn. I hand fed him Gala apples. The deer was with us for 6 months. My cat (Sunshine) would play hide and go seek with the deer. Romping through the azaleas and trees. What a site. They were best buddies. I have pictures and it brings a tear to the eye each time I see "Baby". God knows best. He put Baby there to help ease John's pain.
