Rectangle or oval please would you like my color scheme? Hahaha

Do you have a variety of placemats and table cloths for different seasons or holidays? Or just one or 2 sets same ones are always on the table?

    I usually just use steam/water -

I am still not a fan of starch/sizing - but I will admit that at times it is useful

Top loading or front loading washing machine?

I'm with you on that count Billi, I wanted one so badly, got one when we moved in, it was here. and what a pita it is.

Dryer, in the condo, we just have a front lawn and yard. and it's easier on me and my back to use a dryer,

Dryer sheets or softner in the wash

I hate hand work so machine by someone else I'm practicing now on small throwaway projects maybe once I start making smaller quilts I'll do my own for now I don't want to ruin a perfectly acceptable quilt top with unacceptable quilting.

So machine quilting, do it yourself or send it out?

Ohhhhh really good question I seriously have to think on that one. If I am completely honest with myself I think it's the end product not the journey. While there are parts of the process I love designing, changing designs shopping for the "ingredients" putting the blocks together, learning new techniques there are other parts I HATE, and others that are just part of what needs to be done. I feel like if it was the process or the journey I wouldn't hate cutting borders (don't mind sewing them on) or hate doing the backing as much as I do. so yes it's the end product and the joy I get from giving it someone I love.

So let's say for you it is the journey/process what part do you like better? Choosing the fabrics or sewing the blocks?

another good question. it all depends, sometimes it finding just the right fabric like what I am doing now and sometimes its seeing the blocks come together in a project

Do you keep odd blocks you don't like and make something with them or toss them

Depends...sometimes, if the block is complicated, I'll do a trial block. Other times, I just sew the actual blocks.

Morning, afternoon or evening - when is your best time to quilt?
