depends on the item being quilted. I am using embroider thread on the wall hanging Iam quilting right now. There are a lot of interesting threads ou there. I find myself going to the thread deartment now more then the fabric.

I use a neutral beige or gray thread when piecing.
lynnie you are the only other person I have found that is allergic to mustard!!! I have ended up in the hospital three times over the years with really bad reactions to it. Salad dressing is the worst since it is often used now and you can't tell if it is in there. I am very careful when I eat out now.

The next person sometimes quilts with a walking foot. (I do)

true, now that i started to quilt by machine, only straight line.

Jeanne, and they lie, then say, well, you can't taste it!!!! my mom knows i'm allergic to onions, and she lies to me all the time. then i have to put up with the severe stomach aches, headaches and vomiting. she says it's so small, you can;t taste it. Needless do i need to say, i NEVER eat there anymore. she doesn't care.

The person below me hand quilts a lot of her quity stuff.

No I am not a hand quilter, just don't have that kind of patience.

Yes, people that don't have a food allergy just don't get it. But your MOM???? That is just plain wrong!!

the next person likes diet coke over regular coke.

No I do not work with kids.

Lynnie Jeanne I'm still trying to figure out what the hell tasting a food and an allergy have to do with each other........just because I can't taste a poison dosen't mean its not poison and won't kill me. somebody else does not get to decide if the reaction you have to a food is severe enough to object to a food. That is so wrong on so many levels........ Ok I'll step off my soap box now

    Morning routines....

Do you get up shower and dress first thing then go to the kitchen for your beverage and breakfast....
    Or
Do you drink your beverage maybe eat something and wake up a bit then get cleaned up and ready for your day?

I do the later--to me one of the luxuries of being retired is sitting with a cup of coffee and reading the paper In My Jammie's till 10am!!

Billi you are so right--being able to taste something has NO connection to whether you have an allergic reaction to something--but some people are just ignorant I guess. And Lynnie's Mom sounds mean too!

    Eggs---scrambled, fried or poached?

eggs again, plain or with mix ins (bacon, ham, veggies)

I usually just eat them plain, over easy or scrambled. But I like them with all the other goodies, just too lazy to put them in at times!

The next person takes walks outside for exercise.
