I guess it's modern my quilts are usaully an all over design of 1 or 2 different blocks creating a giant design they are not sashed to show off each individual block, however I do not have large "blank" areas for the quilting to be the focus which is what I typically think of when someone says modern. So I'm not to sure.

The person below me has a long term project of a vintage sampler type quilt they are working on.

so true ... I'm making a hand-sewn scrappy (recycled fabrics) quilt of 2" blocks sewn into 4-patch design that I plan to hand quilt. It's been a project in the making for 2 years and only a third of the blocks needed.

The person below me knows just what to do with chevron fabrics.

Time for a new pet lets try unconventional, would you rather have a rodent, like a rat or hedgehog, or ferret? Or would you rather have a reptile like a snake or lizard?
