I learned a new technique today on making sewn cards. The designs happen to be Christmas ones but I have several that are not. I can't wait to try all of the new designs I have. It was fun.

Yes I can. Use handmade paper or cardstock,(or a thinner card stock that feels more like fabric,if you can find it), cut away stabilizer, rayon embroidery thread any color you like. Have a outline type design on your machine(embroidery machine). Take the stabilizer and put it in your hoop. Spray your card or cardstock(if using a blank card, spray the inside ) then stick the card on the stabilizer. I want to mention to be careful with the spray adhesive around your machine. Now sew...OH, if you have a jump stitch trim on your machine, turn it off. Also turn you machine speed down a few notches too. Then sew. After the design is done trim away the stabilizer then cover the stitches with some paper with double sided tape. On your computer you can design your own messages...I have to do the last steps yet...

Oh wow, they are so cute. Did you sew that on a card stock? I love it.
