Chapman, Barn quilt city of Kansas, USA
I happened to spend a few minutes in Chapman Kansas last week and was surprised to see these.

wow, thanks, Leon, that's great to know! I didn't get pictures because we were always speeding by (DH driving!) but the whole Granby CO Valley (all the little towns) were loaded with barn quilts everywhere! Worth going again (and driving slower) to see again.

Great find!
A friend and I and our husbands have been on Barn Quilt Trails. It takes a while to drive around to see them all. Last weekend we were driving around the countryside in Washington County, Oregon to see the barn quilts. We spent a couple of hours and only saw about 1/4 of them. They are quite spread out, but we certainly enjoyed driving around in the country with all the gorgeous fall colors and views from the hillsides! We also went to a quilt show and when we mentioned the Barn Quilt Trail, were surprised to find that the quilters were not aware of it, or just barely aware.
My friend and I have plans to make small ones to put on our houses. Feels like a "secret handshake". LOL
