Sooo, how do you find anything on Craig's List? If I type fabric in the search box, I get everything from sofas to car motors. What catagory do you look in to find embroidery machines, fabric and quilting supplies?

Good luck. Unfortunately I live back of beyond so there is never anything on CL that is close enough to consider.

I use the word "sewing" in the Search box. You might try "sewing fabric" to narrow down your results.

After being on here for hours my next stop is CL. I type in sewing machine, sewing machines. I go into ALL FOR SALE/WANTED.

If looking for fabric, I look in arts and crafts. Also, be aware that CL is not like ebay, so look for both fabric, and fabrics. CL sees those as two entirely differentl words-sometimes that "s" adds more sale options! If you want to leave it open to all for sale/wanted, you can check the box (I believe on the right hand side) that says title only. That will help elimate the description of all the furniture fabrics, vehicle descriptions, etc.

I go to all for sale and type in sewing. Sometimes I put in quilt. You will get a lot of matresses and used comforter sets but once in a while you will find real quilts. Then I add the ing to quilt (quilting) and sometimes you come up with quilting machines or quilt racks.
