My cat is gone now and I miss her, she was 19 years old. She had her "woobbie" on the back of the sewing table. That made her content and kept her away from the needle.

Aren't they something else. Mine ignore me until I sit down with some hand work or at the machine....then one of the two is in my lap or on top of the sewing table

Mine does it when I'm not looking, then I find orange tabby fur all over my fabric. He's an orange tabby/manx.

Take a break and love her up. I think she wants your attention.

Oh, kitteh is too cute. They love to watch the needle go up and down. Mine will just lay there like rocks. One of mine likes to sit in front in my lap while I'm trying to sew.

I have 2 of many cats that run upstairs with me to my sewing room. One curls up on my side table when I tell her to go to "her spot" so she's not in my way. Most of the time, she'll listen. the other has a couple favorite spots on the floor, including a plastic storage bin lined with fleece just for him.
