Crocodile Stitch Crocheted Pillow
This has been one of the crochet stitches on my bucket list and I finally learned how to make it! This pillow is for my daughter ... goes with the afghan I made for her. There's over 7 ounces of yard in this pillow. The instructions also called for the back to be crocheted in this stitch. After I finished the front, I was determined not to crochet it all over for the back! It's not difficult once you get the stitch down, but it is very time consuming and uses a lot of yarn. So I went to my stash and made a pillow cover for a pillow form I had in my stash!! Nothing like having stash!

I just saw the stitch demonstrated on a PBS show here. Your crocheting is beautiful and I really like using the fabric for the back. You matched the color perfectly!
So interesting to see the stitch on the show and then to see your pillow. It does take a lot of yarn but it is so special-looking!

Yes! I find a lot of goodies in "my stash", but too often I have to buy something so my stash just keeps growing!!!I like your pillow. I crochet too, but don't know this stitch. I can see it would use a ton of yarn......
