I'm hoping he doesn't end up needing prednisone or breathing treatments to get through this. Now for the really fun part! Monday I started to not feel very well, and by this morning felt like I had been hit by a truck. Aching all over, headache, sore throat, congestion. I am hoping my daughter is lucky and bypasses this lovely illness, but right now it is not looking good! Thanks for letting me vent, I hope anyone else who has the crud at their house feels better soon!!

I'm sorry you're all ill and I hope eveyone is better soon. Sounds like the flu to me. Did you all get your flu shots? They work and you can't get the flu from them because you're injected with dead virus. I don't mean to sound preachy but I'm a nurse and I work in infection control. Clean all your surfaces (like phones) with a germacide (bleach or Lysol work)that way there's less chance of it recirculating.

Spray EVERYTHING with a disinfectant, and wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands

Vent away!

I always found that when I was sick, I had to 'carry on' and when anyone else in the family was sick, I had to 'carry on', too.

Now that the kids are grown and on their own, I give myself sick days when I need them. But, of course, I miss the days when I had to 'carry on'. That's human nature, right?

Feel better! And that's an order!!!!
