Curious George for a girly girl

My little pink loving DGD is having a Curious George themed birthday party for her third birthday. I tried to make a girly dress while still using the traditional colors. I made a tutu that she can wear for a petticoat. It's funny, reminds me of a chocolate covered banana.

Beautiful work. I love the dress and the idea of a tutu. My granddaughter is a girly girl and she can never have too many tutus. She just turned 4.

I love that you stuck to the original Curious George colors and did not try to fit it into pinks and purples. I saw a shirt at the store one time with pink background and George was purple. Did not like that. George is George and little girls love him for who he is. Both your dress and tutufufu are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Your dress for her is adorable....as is she!
I used to make all kinds of dresses for my now 34 year old daughter. Sold many of them after she outgrew them. I'm missing having a precious little girl to design and sew for.
