Default Daddy pillowcases

Our son is deployed to Afghanistan, his wife Christy saw the daddy pillows on line. She asked me to make pillow cases for Gavin and Julia, so daddy would be there with them every night while gone. When they saw them they each laid right next to him with a smile and a hug. Christy and I also felt Andy will need a hug from his kids so we made one for him with his beautiful children. Asking for prayers for this wonderful family and all deployed soldiers and their families. Thanks.

What a lovely idea.....Yes...and my thoughts are with all who are serving their countries (and their loved ones)...seems there is more need for their service now, than ever....may they all come home safe and sound.

How absolutely adorable. It must be so difficult with the young ones missing their Daddy.

What a wonderful idea....
You will all be in my thoughts. You didn't say, but i hope his tour will be over soon.
As a Mom who has been where you are - I have a sense for your feelings. Please pass along our deepest thanks to your son for his service - and your daughter-in-law & grand-kids for theirs. We all know that the families "serve" in their own way as well.
