Somewhere, somehow, like me, you may have had your QB email go to spam. The admin here freezes our newsletters - for our safety, they say - for 2 months when that happens. After 2 months we can write the admin to ask for reinstatement.
What a hassle.

it isn't crazy. it's common sense.
why would we keep sending something we know is going to get blocked? we should clog the board's servers with bounce-back notifications? we should risk finding our board on some list of "known" spammers so we end up getting blocked all the time now matter who we send to? now that would be crazy.
i risk sounding overly testy, i know. but the fact remains that we can't control what members do with and to their individual email settings.
in the highly automated, computer-controlled world of email, standardized methods of responding to and correcting known problems is the only cost-effective, user-protective way to go.
otherwise, we'd have to hire a roomful of techs just to personally deal with each and every incident of this type. can anybody spell "we couldn't provide the board for free anymore?" that would be crazier, still. what good is a board with no members? i don't particularly enjoy talking only to myself. i'm kinda boring. ;-)
