Welcome to the club, GrandMA. Get "your" bag packed. Take a tooth brush, makeup if you wear it, a change of undies and maybe a clean shirt. Also a book, magazine and/or sewing AND your laptop if you have one. You can leave all this in the car but SOOOO nice to have because..........

I had to travel 1 1/2 hours when my daughter had her baby and she was in labor for 18 hours. I didn't want to leave. SOOOOO glad I packed my bag.

Blessings. Keep us posted

I will be headed to the hospital, an hour away, when they admit her. Right now, the midwife told her to stay home because she hasn't dialated yet and I think it is going to be a long night! She goes back to the midwife around 5 and they will decide to either send her home or to the hospital.
Oh congrats, and god be with all.

So happy for you!!! Being a grandmother is such a wonderful blessing and a lot more fun because you can give them back to dad and mom when the grands get fussy. And you can break rules because that's what grandparents are for.... lol.
