We went into the city late yesterday afternoon and walked along the Hudson River. It was a perfectly gorgeous evening and people were sunbathing, roller blading, biking, picnicing, etc. Leave it to New Yorkers. We take everything in stride! So far it's dreary and raining. Don't mind being forced to stay in - just hope power doesn't go out - then maybe I can get some sewing done!

My daughter is also in Brooklyn. I worry about her since she has no experience with any of this. But on the otherhand, her boyfriend seems to have it all under control. He's a good man.

Prayers for all.

That is an awesome pic - you should have it printed to frame.

Great picture but hope it's a smooth storm and passes quickly. Prayers to all of your families in her path.

My DD and SIL live in Brooklyn. I was so worried. She said they got very little rain and only a breeze. Right now they are opening windows to 65 degrees and partially sunny. Brooklyn got next to nothing. Right now in New Hampshire we are getting heavy rain bands and lots of wind.
