Grew up in the city, married and moved to the suburbs, retired and sought a quieter life, so moved to the mountains of New Hampshire wth a mile of dirt, curvy road to traverse before we are home.

Born in Newton, Massachusetts - moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when I was 6 and have been in the same area (within 20 miles anyway) for my remaining years. Always in the country after spending my teen years in suburbia. Love where I live - 1/2 mile driveway into a deep valley --- feels like the place that time forgot.

Was born and raised in Massachusetts. Married a man in the Air Force and spent the next 24 yrs moving around the country and overseas. Last place we were stationed was San Antonio, TX. Don't like it here at all but the kids and grandkids are here so this is where we will stay (unless the kids move away then we will be right behind them.)

Born and raised in a small town, moved to an even smaller town in a very remote area just a few miles away. Love it here. I've been to the city and people arent friendly, actually they are quite scary.

Born and grew up in a small central New York town. My husband is from an even smaller neighboring town. Had great plans to move after we were married but then realized it's who you are with, not necessarily where you live. Also, we realized the importance of living close to our families. Have never regretted it. Have moved from small town to country though for the past 34 years and love it. Only time I've lived outside of the county was when I went to a 2 year college a whole county away!

I immigrated with my parents and siblings from Europe to California when I was 13. I went to college in the Los Angeles area. Met my husband at 19, married at 21, we moved half way between my college and his work. When I graduated we moved back to the town my parents lived in. We moved to Oregon for about a year and then moved back to SoCal for work. I wished my family had never immigrated but at the same time I would not want to go back now. I sometimes wonder how life would be if I still lived in Europe. I miss all my extended family very much.

Kind of. Born in OK, moved to NJ as a baby, lived in NJ until college, moved to PA, then to Italy, England (DH is from England), Puerto Rico and now back to NJ.

I was born and raised about 35 miles from where I am now. So I have not gone far from where I was planted.
