I had a black lab many years ago that would retrieve things from the neighbors. Stainless steel bowls, all sizes, clothes, towels, sheets, bbq utensils. I would never know what she would bring home next. I would be afraid when the neighbors would come over in case they recognized something. For about 2 weeks, she brought home wool clothes that still had the dry cleaning tags still pinned on them.

Oh, my word. That is why I don't let the cats out of the house.

This is what Maui brings me. Sam (1966-1986) was the first to present me with one of these. The next day my hubby installed a back door with glass. I don't let my pets in without seeing what they've brought. This was taken thru the French doors.

That's too funny! I have to keep my shoes locked up because my cat steals them. He thinks they are chew toys.

I had a cat that would bring me crawdads and frogs whenever it rained. Yuck!

No, but we had a "clepto" dog. He brought home balls, sticks, clothes, shoes, even all 3 "bases" from a ball park. I kept a box in the garage of all his "hauls"...nobody would ever claim any of it though. It might have had to do with the slobber on all the stuff though.

So that's where my socks are going. I lose at least one sock a wash.
