that's what I do!
my home-cave is 11 x 13, his garage is 20 x30!
He has a motorcycle, a truck, a small tractor, several mowers,...can't even remember all the junk he has...and that's the big stuff, and he's going to buy another mower, pretty soon!
I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT :?
Don't talk about my stuff, I won't talk about yours, honey.
Dollar for dollar, I haven't caught up yet...but I'm steady working on it :!:

I wouldn't say you have a problem...tell hubby to come see my stash! lol I have 9 large bins full, four half size bins, some in the laundry room that is washed and dried but I haven't retrieved it yet, and a large tote on wheels that is full! LOL

Nope, you haven't gotten to where it's a problem! lol :)

hubby used to grumble bout my fabric, then i'd retort something back. Solution, was very very simple!!! When i get fabric now, i make sure he notices my Extreme pleasure! LOL LOL He likes it when i'm happy, cus happy me means happy him lol lol It works like a charm :) :) :) And now, if i'm grumpy, he'll say, hey, wanna go shopping??? LOL LOL :)

I am sorry to disagree with everyone here. Yo DO have a problem. You have only one bookshelf and a project in mind for every piece. To me that is not a stash. A stash is fabric you got for no reason at all, that you will later use as you see fit. If you have a project in mind for every piece, they are not available for "emergencies".

The solution for your problem is to go shopping, but now for the stash. The real stash! Because you like it!

I don't see a problem. I don't have a big stash either, about the size of yours, maybe less.
Men and people who don't quilt will not understand a quilter and their love for fabric. Each piece is usually brought with a future project in mind, or just because it is so beautiful you just could not let it go with out buying some. I mean after all once it is gone you will never see it again. LOL
