This is VERY interesting. My boy Kitchen def has different types of purrs, especially the high pitched morning one!

I saw it somewhere...cats have waitstaff. Mine sure do.
They really are enjoying me being home more. I trip over them more and instead of one getting between me and the keyboard there are 2 LOL
The third one who doesnt like to be handled has been all over me and demanding I pet her.

I have been known to have 2 and sometimes 3 cats sitting on various parts of my body. Good thing I am overweight or they would never fit.

I have to laugh as I've always said that! My 3 cats have 4 people to wait on them hand and foot.
Ms Kitty, (the Momma to Cali) is the boss!! Even of our dog (Max) we really think she's a cat/dog as she'll chase off anything that's in her yard (she's the only one that we let out as she came to us as an outside cat with no claws. )

Anyways, Cali (Ms Kitty's daughter) will howl if she can't hear you at night. She has to be around people. Thinks that when you go up the steps for something, that you're going to see HER! *LOL*

Ms Kitty will tell me when they need water, food or anything else.

Tigger....Well he's just psychotic..  the doorbell rings and he runs for the hills!!!

There was never a doubt in my mind that my cats run me and my house.

Mine yells at me when she wants attention. She moves her tray her food is on all over the place too. You have to be careful where you step 24/7

Oh, yeah, I've always known that my cat rules me!! If he loses me for a second, he squalls. If I leave the house for a couple of hours and come back, he's sitting at the door and fusses. If his food/water bowl is down to less than HALF, I get pestered until I feed him....

Mine has several purrs - the morning one described in the article, a huge motorboat one when both her ears are being massaged at once, and a special one when she toys with me - when I lean over the bed to turn on the fan, she jumps on my butt and purrs. I seldom have the heart to just relocate her.

She seldom meows, though, and it usually means a BUG has gotten in the house and must be destroyed. I actually saw her snatch a fly in midair with both paws, and she is de-clawed in front.
