I just came back from going out to eat with DH. This place has several tv-s on the wall going with different programs, mostly sports, news or the food channel. DH and I just take our last bites when I look up and see this advertisement of this guy standing nearly knee deep in raw sewage water with floating "brownies" trying to unplug his toilet. Yuck! I am not even sure what the advertisement was about. Just disgusting and the timing was no good either being at a restaurant. It should cure any one from watching tv and eating at the same time.

Worst commercial on TV right now is the exploding diapers! Nasty.

AMEN! I totally agree with you.

At least commercials made sense when I was a kid.

The absolute worst commercial for me right now is a local one for a cable TV company, where a man has just finished hanging a TV in his bathroom. The wife comes in and orders the nerdy looking guy to take it down. Her tone is rude and harsh and controlling. If this was a man ordering a woman it would have been gone after the first day. Instead I have watched this man's wishes be minimalized and denigrated over and over.

Equal should be equal.

This happens to me all the time. I remember the ads but not the product. I'll think 'it's an insurance ad' or 'it's a car ad' but can't remember the brand name.

I don't watch commercials at all. Most of them are insulting.

I don't like that one. I feel so sorry for him. I bet he wishes she would have married John Clark.
Probably not as much as John Clark is glad she didn't.

How about the ad for medicine for fibromyalgia. The woman "just found out" that there are nerves in her skin and all over her body. DUH.

I remember the days when you never saw feminine products shown on tv....That's the last thing I want to constantly be reminded of...and like it has to cost a fortune....it just gets thrown out anyway....
