I have a theory about high fashion and its designers. I think they are all designed by men who hated their mother

I was thinking the same thing! I remember the haughty faces Lucy and Ethel wore as they walked around in those outfits.

I'm guessing they are really in the entertainment business ... I got a good laugh out of it! :-D

I've decided that most designers these days are suffering from a dearth of fabric, a dearth of ideas, and a hefty oversupply of anorexic models. It's getting more and more difficult to find clothes I'd wear anywhere. I have a friend who could well afford to do all her shopping at Neiman Marcus, but she shops in vintage clothing shops, and updates her finds to suit her tastes, and she always looks smashing. Think I'll do the same!

You MUST be right. Surely they aren't getting their income from sales of the freaky clothes they design and show. I'm thinking that Lady Gaga must be their only viable client. <G>

Do they make a living doing this? People should not get paid for producing this.
