Yes, my son said that his great-grandmother visited him a few years after she died.

I have not seen any and am not going to go looking for any but do believe there are ghosts/spirts. My brother in law as a child saw his grandmother have a conversation with his departed grandfather. His rocking chair started rocking and he could smell his cigar. The windows were closed and no one was in or near the chair.
My ex's aunt had tvs come on in the middle of the night when everybody was sleeping and lights would be turned on and off.
Two other people I know also saw some.

I grew up in a haunted house, and if they are around, they generally come out to play. When my ex and I first moved into a haunted house, he did not believe, and the ghost made it clear that they do exist.

It would ring the phones in certain parts of the house and not others, and start the vacuum cleaner and move it (not self-propelled). My Great Dane would actually back out of the living room with his hackles up when ghost wanted the room. One other time, he tore an advertising sign off the wall and threw it down where I had been standing a minute earlier.

A friend of mine died right after we got out of HS. He and I went to the Muppet Movie together. We both had that child like quality. When he was hit and killed by a drunk driver he had the Muppet movie tape playing in his car. They played "Why are there so many songs about Rainbows" by Kermit the Frog at his service. When the service was over and we walked out of the chruch there was the biggest brightest most brilliant rainbow over the church that I have ever seen. To this day he will send me a rainbow on occasion just to say Hi.

Be careful what you entertain. There are angels and there are demons. I do not look for those folks who have departed and the reason for this is I know of too many greiving people who have been tortured by what they thought was the spirit or ghost of some one they loved and lost.

The day she died, at the moment she stopped breathing, the sun came shining through that window. Both my older sister and I saw it. We studied that window to try to figure out how that sun came through and why at that moment. Still have not figured it out. I have also heard from her and others since they have died. It is usually in the form of a dream, but I feel their touch and hear their words. I do not care if it is real or not. It sure makes my life easier to know they are there.
Amazing...didn't it make you feel good to know your sister was communicating with you? The same thing happened when my brother died of cancer. We were in the church for his funeral and it had been grey and raining all day. His friend got up to say a few things and all of a sudden a bright ray of sunshine came through a window way up high and shined right down on the urn. After the service, we went outside and it was still grey and raining...no explanation except that he was there. Kid you not...everyone saw it and talks about it still even though that was 13 years ago already!
Thanks for sharing this. Sometimes I don't talk about it because those who do not believe say it's all in your head. Thanks again. It gave me goosebumps to read your post.

While in the hospital a few years ago, I saw a woman come through a wall into my room and then walk out the door with it being closed.

After my Siamese died of old age in the fall, well the next spring I saw her three times in my house. I actually got up and followed her down the hall where she went into the bathroom, but by the time I got there she was gone.

I believe those "voices" we hear in our heads are from deceased love ones. Example: My family has always had horses for 3-4 generations. Well, I was going to put a old mare in the barn for the night, she seemed a little "poorly" that night. So on the way to the house a "voice" said to me 'Dana, what if Gay dies in the barn, how will you get her out?" Very good question??? Sure enough she died that night. But I listened to that voice and put her in the barn lot, so I didn't have to cut the barn to pieces . I have had many good suggestions from my family over the years.
So, yes I believe!

Absolutely. I have had numerous experiences. I have a ghost living in the house I live in now. She is harmless.

I'm very scientific based however, I have witnessed some strange unexplained things in old houses. I have also experiienced older patients who telll of these visitations only to pass on themselves within days or months after reposting these visitations. Without any concrete findings one way or the other I'm on the line of the the "could be something to this group." :D
