I'll try my hand at the new technique cause if it makes my life easier.............why not. Had some fabrics bleed on me. Someone mentioned hot water and vinegar. Well, it did an okay job but not really great. Then read to use the blue Dawn dish soap. Yes, now that worked for me so now I'll use the Dawn system. Someone mentioned using Elmer's Glue for whatever the situation was at the time. Loved it and now use it whenever I can while piecing and/or putting my binding on my quilt. If it means less chances of pricking myself with straight pins, I'm all for it. There's so many ideas/suggestions I've read on this digest that have made life easier for me.

I will try new methods, small scale to see if they work. Then, if they do, I move on to a larger project.

There's always something new to learn and I try to be open to new ideas.

I like to give the new method a try. Sometimes it works and other times I go back to my original way of doing it.

Yes I am always open to trying new things. It can't hurt & it might make a world of difference in your project or the ease in doing your project. If not then you aren't out anything & just go back to your old way of doing it.

If I'm completely happy with the way I'm doing something -- it works for me without frustrations or problems -- then I usually stick with it. But I'm always completely grateful for suggestions that make what is not working for me, well, workable. So yes, I try new things....and when they are better I'm always appreciative to whoever thought of the easier way!

In am always open to try new things and ways of doing things. I have learned much better ways of doing a lot of things on the board. We never learn if we don't try new things.

I love to try new ideas. The Elmer's glue basting was the BEST. I hate pin basting and purchased spray basting is soooo expensive and the over spray is not fun to deal with. But Elmer's is the BOMB.

I'm always up for new ideas and will experiment, but only as a test first. If something's easier and foolproof, I'm all in! (Maybe that's why I have so many sewing notions, lol!)

If the new way is in an area where I am having a problem, or is something that would help me save strain on my body, especially, arms and neck, then I definitely will try it. However, if it's just another way to do something that I am already happy with the way it I do it, and it's easy for me, then I probably will just let it go.
