Anybody ever used Geek Squad on-line help to fix computer problems? How did you feel about their service, would you recommend them?

I've never used the geek squad, but I have used 'Sudden Support' and they are great.

I have used the service Geek Squad offers called "Ask an Agent" and have been very satisfied. In store service in our area (S. Texas) is also very good. However, our previous hometown had lousy service. I guess it depends on your location. But the phone folks are great.

I have called it several times. Some of the people know less about computers than I do, some are pretty good. Its pure luck if you get someone that can help or not. If you get someone who does not know what they are talking about, hang up and try again! I once got someone who had no idea what the difference between a pc and mac was!

A lot of computer problems you can fix yourself if you go to Google and type in the error or problem you are having.

I have never used Geek Squad, but I know others who have and were satisfied. I fix my own computers, but I know not everyone can or wants to.

Computers can be frustrating when they don't work properly!
