i opened and account, and having trouble figuring it all out. i closed my ebay store, because i wasn't keeping enough in it or selling enough, to cover the charges.
eCrater is free. so i thought i would use it for items other than quilting.
anyone help me?

I've never heard of it. It will have MUCH less traffic than ebay.

"Strutz Stuff" is what i think i put it under/set up!
i tried yesterday, and did not under stand how to set up shipping by weight. so i gave up until maybe this evening i will try again.
i have sooo much scrapbboking stuff, and other non quilting things that i can't put on our selling board.

I have an ecrater account and I love it. There isnt as much traffic as ebay of course, you have to do your own promoting and such. But you can sell items there with a little work. I have had problems with the shipping matrix too so I try to charge one fix rate for shipping. Check out the community section, there is loads of information on how to set up your store and everyone is so helpfull. Good Luck on your journey.
Oh by the way, the name of my store is "jansgifts4u" you can take a look at my store and see how its set up. I am in the process of adding more items too.

I've browsed on ecrater, and have sold a few things. One thing to remember is that when you sell a item, you have to take it off manually yourself, otherwise it stays on.
