Woo Hoo -
Just got my FRE-Legal Size Envelopes!

I'm gonna send out some fabric in them tomorrow and see how much more I can cram into one of those babies!

I can't get as much as everyone else, but maybe with the extra width, I'll be able to help others save on postage. The link indicates they are only going to be $4.95 like the other FRE.

I'm still waiting for the padded FRE's to arrive.

If you place your fabric in a zip lock bag and squeeze all the air our before you zip it all the way, you can keep it flatter and get more in the envelope. I sit on mine!!!

Yup, I seal mine in plastic bags, and cut a few tiny blow holes, so that when I smash it down, the air sucks out of the bag.

I never thought of sitting on it...might have to try that...lol.

lol

I definitely sit on mine, too!

Thanks for letting us know about the legal size. I never knew it existed.

I put in zip lock and seal up except for the last tiny space and I use a drinking straw to suck the air out and then finish sealing as I pull the straw out.

Thanks for sharing this. I always try to get as much fabric in a flat rate as possible. I have fit 9 yards, but it was tricky. It takes some careful folding and I usually have to lay it on the ground and hold it down with my knees on it while I close it....lol....gotta do what you gotta do!!!!

How about rolling the air out. Like rolling dough or squeezing the last bit of toothpaste. Just a thought.
