I love that look -- almost makes me wish I could crochet! We get a lot of those at our local chapter of Project Linus, and they are my favorites, after quilts, of course.

They are absolutely adorable. I make some this way also. Not sure where they end up but I do send them to someone on the QB and she distributes them. So relaxing to make.

I have made dozens of those. I also take the fleece scraps and make hats and mittens. They go very quickly.

I also like crochet edging on my fleece, but have been told by nurses and another lady that works with Project Linus donations that hospitals don't like crochet items on the beds because they get tangled up in the IV lines more often than not.
Just passing along what I was told.
