Cool Raffled quilt

I am so happy as I found out today that a quilt I had in my cupboard, originally made for a friend's grand-daughter that wasn't urgent to be sent off..., and so I made a donation of it to a fund raiser for people affected in that horrible freak accident up in Queensland which put so many people in hospital with bad burns, 2 ladies eventually passed away. The whole town banded together to help. So I was told today that my quilt brought in $200 !!!
So happy I could help!!! Amazing how small towns stick together in times of need!!!

Well done!
I'm sure it will bless both the giver and the recipient.

My sentiments exactly. "It is in giving that we receive"

Very thoughtful of you to give your quilt as a donation. There are no words to describe how proud it must make you feel to be able to help people in a crisis.

How nice you were able to donate, and will be able to have time to make another for the original intention. I will include those injured and killed in the accident in prayers, and also will be praying for all of you that are helping in the recovery of the community.
