All my CO friends called me Maxine and to this day, one sends me a Maxine calendar every Christmas and for my big birthday surprise party my family gave me, she couldn't come, but had sent a quilt she worked on for almost a year, it is flannel and brushed cotton and maxine blocks that she did on her embroidery machine. It is just adorable Someone has a picture taken of us holding it up at the party, if I can find it, will post it. I was in a fog the whole day, I was so shocked.
