I agree - My mom bought me the book (2 times...lol) and I just couldn't get into it. I gave one copy away to a friend because she wanted to read it.

OMG - I loved the book - I was so enthralled I couldn't stop reading it - I actually bought extra copies and gave them away - everyone I know loved it. Isn't funny how it strikes all of us differently - I am worried that the movie won't do the book justice.

I ALWAYS finish a book once I start it. Eat, Pray, Love was the exception. I thought it was terribly boring and after about 2/3 of the way through it, I had to give up. The movie was somewhat better, but I wouldn't recommend either of them. Seriously!!

I couldn't get through the book and I was so hoping that the movie was better, but I guess not. Drats!

How funny! I rented it and watched it today too! I was a little disappointed, but liked it overall.
