Dear Friends,
Life is what happens while we're busy making other plans and quilting. This is certainly true for me. At my doctor's suggestion, I will be having heart surgery next week. I am fortunate to have an excellent staff at Quilt in a Day to carry on as I recuperate.

I appreciate your prayers and good wishes as I mend.

Sincerely,
Eleanor Burns

This is the post from Facebook this morning...I learned how to make quilts with her books! Love this lady. She needs our prayers right now

Prayers for Eleanor, her family and the medical staff taking care of her. She is a wonderful teacher and fun loving person. I have learned a lot from her as I am sure many others have too.

Thank you for this information, Eleanor and her program on PBS is what got me started in the world of quilting. Log Cabin in a Day was my very first quilt and the rest is history. My thoughts and prayers go out to her, her family and friends as she goes through this time in her life. God Bless all!

I was just finishing up one of her quilt patterns and thought about how many I have made from her books. There are many quilters I like but she is my favorite of all. A great lady.

I was fortunate to take a class from Eleanor a few years ago. She was so much fun! She made sure that every one of us had a great time.
