It is a beautiful elk :D:D:D

Here is a link to the red deer that mayday is referring to. It does look the same as our elk, only different colored fur :D:D:D

It's a new (yet to be released) fabric by Springs, from a group they've named "Calling the Herd". So whoever mentioned "bugling" would be right!

I was thinking of ordering it for the store, but I figured it would be best to find out for sure whether this indeed was an elk, lest I foolishly call it by the wrong name. :oops:

Beautiful panel. Yep it's a bull Elk & they sure are big. My huz & I took a drive to see them in person here in PA several years ago. Saw a few with radio collars on. The herd was feeding in a clearing & one male was chasing female. He was bugling & oh my was it loud.

An elk it is...just like the ones we saw in Yellowstone Park. Very majestic animals.

Well, cool! I can't wait for it to be released! We saw a herd running in some fields not far from our house. It was awesome!
