Check with Tacomama , altho I think you have to become a member to buy those. My Chiropractor sells some of a different brand too. Some grocery stores sell them , but I don't think they are as good.

A very dear friend of mine is very knowledgeable in this area. If she doesn't know the answer right away, she can find out. Visit her site and learn more about these oils.

I was dealing with some dental pain from a dry socket and she suggested the essential oil tea tree could help ease the pain -- and it did. You have to be careful about tea tree oil though, only in that there's a type you can use as I did in my mouth and the type you use externally. This is an amazing hidden gem the medical community really doesn't want you to know about.

Again, my friend is a distributor of deTerra so I'm sure she can help you out. She's a single mom so could use some new customers. She has a passion for health and wellness and is a sweet person to deal with.

It all depends on the oil and it's suggested use. Many are allergic to different oils. The only oils I ingest are cooking oils. Do not like the smell of coconut oil and I can live without coconut creams and such.

Thank you, Ladies, for all the interesting comments about the healing oils. I appreciate your insight and experiences. Keep them coming. I'm thinking of trying the doTERRA oils.

I use coconut oil and yesterday I made my own coconut chocolate candy, this time I put in some slivered almonds--yummy!

Just because something says it is "organic" or "natural" doesn't mean it's necessarily good for you. Remember, cyanide is both organic and natural.

Not the point I was making at all. Just saying, if you plan on using essential oils for ANY reason, be sure it is certified organic....I said nothing about "natural" as that is a meaningless term.

Cogito: no offense meant. Many people use the terms organic and natural interchangeably. Everyone who's posted had valid suggestions (ask your doctor, make sure of no interactions with Rx drugs, etc.). I am not against essential oils - people just need to be aware of potential problems/contraindications. I don't use oils, but I am a fan of using Arnica for bruising and ecchenachia for cold/flu. I agree, coconut oil is awesome for cooking (great on the "new" Paleo diets) and is wonderful as a hand cream. So sorry if I've offended you, Cogito, again, I meant no offense.
