Why do I take pictures of some of the same flowers year after year? Shrug. But, someone on the last post asked to see more blooms, so here's what I got tonight--dodging biting buggers. I thought the Marigolds came out nicely.

Peony about to POP--looks like it's been working on it for a long while. lol

Don't like this one (focus issues)--but the three Iris colors-light to dark--was kind of cool.

Ah, thanks for the flower fix. Spring still hasn't quite sprung here.
I recently read that lupines bring aphids. I haven't noticed any with mine, but haven't looked. Have you noticed aphids around your lupine?

What beautiful pictures!
What I find absolutely amazing is that there is less than 10 degrees of latitude between where you live and where I live and it will be June before we can even think of planting marigolds and July before the Iris and Peonies begin to bloom!
We're happy to see daffodils right now! And the early crocuses just wilted!
What kind of perennials bloom in JUly and August there???
