I have not had it done but it is on my bucket list to do. Best of luck with your recovery and let us know how it went.

A few of my friends have had this done and I was just evaluated to have it done - always raising my eyebrows to see. Anyway, they took pineapple pills from the health store for about 2 weeks before their surgeries; which helped immensely to eleviate much bruising.

[quote=Ann L]I would love to have it done myself but right now can't afford it.
Check your insurance, if doctor recommonds insurance should cover.

Keep us posted, my doctor says I should be thinking on haveing this done.
Thanks for the postive info.

You are right about the Arnica; it's great. There is also a gel to use; the good thing about it not only does it reduce and shorten the time for bruising; it helps with pain. Sports docs use it for muscles. My grandson has growing pains in his legs and he loves it when I put this on it. And it's natural so it's a win-win thing

I'm so glad you started this post, I was told last year I needed to get this done (lids going over eyelashes) I was a little spooked about getting the surgery, but after all the comments, it may not be so bad.

That was me last year ! But , this year they tape the loose part of your lid up as well and the graph shows both with lids down and taped. Amazing the difference ! Ask them if they can do this too for you !
