Dotty, I have no suggestions, and when I Googled for information I got a lot of places that are elsewhere in the world selling French fabrics. I just wanted to wish you luck on your search and say that it sounds like a WONDERFUL place to visit! When you get back you MUST tell us what you found.

I am hearing to buy tablecloths. Well, I could get odds & ends of napkins & cut them up!

I think if I were to travel that far away it would be hard to use that fabric!

Have a wonderful time!! I hope you can find some fabrics. We had a bit of time in Rome and I couldn't find a fabric store to save my life.

Maybe you could find something useful on this site? http://www.cosman.nl/maps/list_en.php?cn=fr I was not a quilter when I visited France way back in 1969....
I wonder if you contacted locals if they could give you an insight. I googled patchwork in provence, france to find these links. http://valencroix.over-blog.com/categorie-10769734.html
