technician just called to tell me I will have my Kenmore back by Wednesday! The problem was in the foot pedal so they gave me a new one. Then he gave me the spiel about the surgeprotector and I told him I use one, but I always unplug everything when theres a storm. He seemed satisfied with that answer, lol. Now I cant wait!!
