Welcome, AtHomeSewing, Everose and Pam 304. I have added your names to the list. Be sure to send createfourpaws a FQ and post at least weekly, preferably more often. I truly think this is one of those things that you get out what you put in. Checking in here helps keep us all on track. Connie, you don't have send a PM to sign up - just indicate here that you're in.

Di, thank you for the reminder to drink water. It's the third key along with a proper food plan and sufficient exercise.

The two PJ parties were as cute as they could be and seemed to be very successful for the shop owners. My leopard pants and fushsia top were a hit. The top says "Perfect Princess" in small leopard lettering. A tad bit immature, but I only bought them to wear around the house after a surgery.

Pam, you'll do fine. I do have a few ideas and we can always repeat some older taboos as a refresher.

Super Bowl Sunday - I will be FMQ the flannel quilt for the women's shelter auction. If I'm refusing to bind it, I need to complete my part so it can go to the next person. I will not dobinding by hand. My daughter is having a party but the game is so late on the East Coast that she'll go to bed and I'll end up watching it with a bunch of teenage boys. There's nothing wrong with that if I have the quilt under control. My ex husband would like to come here and watch it, but that's not going to happen.

It seems like I have been running all afternoon and evening so I need to get to work. Have a great evening, y'all.

Hi all, I am down from my high wt of 320# but still a long way from my goal of 130#. Feb 1 I weighed in at 261# argh! I am setting daily, weekly & monthly goals to help me get to my goal weight safely. My biggest frustration is lack of exercise. I used to bike & hike lots but have been disabled last 18 years and getting active is difficult. I'm to work out in the warm water therapy pool at my fitness center. I've got a work out to do but haven't been there since Oct. So my goal this coming week is to get there at least 3 times - alt. days. More often if I am well enough. I work WW staying with low carbs. I haven't been keeping a daily food journal and that's changing. I dusted off my journal and will keep track here too. Thanks for all the support.

Congratulations on your 60 lb loss so far!! That's fantastic!!!!! You are slightly less than me. I would be happy, at this point, to just get under the 200 mark.

Good morning ladies. Welcome to all the newbies.

Congratulation Gayle on the new grand daughter. Babies are so presiouse.

It seems like people are setting goals this month, which is a good thing. As a rule I don't usuallu do well with set goals but I'm going to give it a try. My goal will be 10 lbs. I think that's doable even though Febuary is a short month.

I have a question for those who are following WW. I'm doing WW onlin and so far having good luck. My question is about the points. At the top I have 26 points for the day and then 49 points. What are the 49 point for? I've been able to keep within 26 points except for two day so I thought I was doing well, I just don't know what those 49 point are for.

Well it's about time to start my laundry and give our dogs their medicine. Saturday is a busy day and I try to get some quilting in.

Everyone have a safe and wonderful day. God bless all.

Jeanne

Jeanne your 49 WW points are like floating points. You can use them any time in the week you want or not use them at all. You have your daily points which for you are 26. Then you can use the other 49 anywhere you need. For me I consider them my cheating points. I use them mostly when we go out or when I run out of points for the day. You can only use them one time a week. Good luck
I had a bad week at work. I have no idea what is going on. The teacher I work with seems to hate me. No matter what I do she criticizes me. I guess we need to talk. I am really hating my job right now and would love to quit but can't as I carry our health insurance and we cant afford to buy it. I am going to talk to the principal about moving to a different classroom next year. I just hope I make it thru this year. I am so stressed I had to have chocolate and made brownies. I had weigh in this morning and my weight was the same. At least it isn't up.

meanmom, Will your principal talk to the teacher for you or would that make it worse? I worked with one of those for several years. Thank goodness I was only in her room for an hour a day. No one yells at me in front of the children and has it blown off. Stress? - take a nap, then go for a walk. Overeating will only cause you more stress.

Woohoo! I need to track sugar grams more often. My weight took a big drop today, but I'm not going to get too excited until I see the same number tomorrow.

I'm off to walk the dogs then go buy a brighter lightbulb. I'm having trouble sewing at night and since I'm a night owl, that's not good. Yikes, I hope that doesn't mean the cataract is getting worse.

I am losing weight and becoming healthier.

The teacher doesn't yell at me in front of the kids, I mostly get dirty looks and occasional comments. I work with MD students and there is one who is very autistic and has multiple other disabilities. His mom is in the hospital with Lupus and has been mostly in since before Christmas. He doesn't understand what is going on. He has always come to me for support. He doesn't talk and sometimes hangs on me. He always has. He started it last year. Friday I walked in to gym class and he immediatly came to me and she hissed to get away from him.I was working with another student and he was with someone else. All I did was walk into the room. When they are sitting on the floor during group time I make a point of sitting on the other side of the room and he slowly inches towards me. I don't know what she expects me to do about it. I plan on trying to talk to her next week. The only day I have tome is Friday.I don't think involving the principal will do anything. I think she just doesn't like me and it is a personality conflict. Hopefully I will be in a different room next year and I will have a job. The school district is making a lot of cuts and I am low on the seniority list.
I have done my chocolate soothing and am finished with that. It usually just takes a little of that.I will calm my nerves a different way next week.

Meanmom, I'm sorry about the jerk you are working with. I hope talking to her helps, I've had mixed results with that approach. I would say talk with her first, then the principal if needed.
I'm a little confused about the floating points. I understood from WW the 49 points were extras to be used during the week (if need be) but could be used all week (for a total of 49 extra but no more). From the above response, it sounds like you use the 49 floaters only one time in a week(like Tuesday?).
What I like about WW is when I screw up I still have a little wiggle room (those 49 points). Friday morning my dh and I went to Waffle House (haven't been in six months) and had the huge breakfast. As best I counted that was 29 points. Well, after I ate again that day (yes! I did!) it took me way over but I had 49 wigglies cuz I hardly ever use them. So I didn't kill my diet for the week or the month, and started over the next day. I didn't feel guilty because of the wiggle room.
Gayle, are you using the Excel spreadsheet I posted on a previous page? It works great for tracking every bite, exercise, and even water and the floating 49'ers. I think it is such a great freebie.
Judy, I think of you now with the purple leopards (I would love!)
Where is our Nancia? and Xylie?

Good morning everyone. Thanks for clearing up about the 49 points.

meanmom sorry about your situation. I think we've all worked for a person like that but it doesn't make it any easier. I was lucky because my husband had a job with good insurance and I finally couldn't handle working for my boss any more and quit my job. I know that wasn't the professional way to do it but it was the only way I could handle it besides eating my way through every day day I was there. My prayers are with you and your students.

MJ, I thought I saw nancia on this thread the end of January but I haven't heard from Xylie in ages. I was wondering about both of them also. It's like Xylie hasn't been right since she fell out of that tree.

Well it's Sunday again so pray for my. I've been good for two Sunday without binging so I'm hoping for three.

I have to go feed the dogs and give them their medicine.

Will try to get back to you and let you know how I did.

God Bless you everyone.

Jeanne
