Congratulations Pam great work. I am still fighting to get there. I wanted to join the medallion group and the mystery group on here but I decided I have way too many other projects going on. I am trying to finish up a bunch of UFO's. One of the UFO's that I took to last years retreat is still a UFO. All it needs is a sleeve to hang it.
I am finishing up a quilt for my SIL 50th birthday. It is Wednesday. I started quilting it yesterday. The way I am quilting it I need to go over the whole thing twice. I have the first pass finished. I also need to figure out what to do in the borders. It is a scrappy purple quilt. I love how it came out.
We have lots of frozen pipes around here too. Luckily not in my house. They are predicting 50 degrees later this week here. I need to wash my car it is so gross. My car came with free lifetime car washes, but it has been closed for weeks due to the cold.

Default Tip of the Day: Fit Activity into Your Commute

Get off the bus or subway one stop early and walk or skate the rest of the way. It's an easy way to fit an extra 10 minutes of physical activity into your day.

Default Tip of the Day: Add Fruit to Your Menu

Include fruit at dinner! Add crushed pineapple to coleslaw or include orange sections or grapes in a salad.

Default Tip of the Day: Turn One Meal into Many

Make more brown rice than you need and freeze the rest for when you make a soup or casserole.

Default Tip of the Day: Make It A Pizza Night!

Make a mini pizza using a portabella mushroom for the crust. Top with tomato sauce, veggies, and low-fat mozzarella cheese, and broil. Find more recipe ideas here.

My DD 20, had a date set for Saturday and canceled because she was not sure if she should go. OMG, I told her at least go You need out of this house!!! Glad she is being careful, but goodness, how ya going to know if you don't get out and visit them. I know, us parents are praying for just the right one to come along at the right time, so this must not be him, onto the next.

This has been a quiet bunch this month. The weather must have all under the weather. I am stuck inside when it is going to be a beautiful of about 73 today.

I have to make phone calls on my lunch to get dad's radiation treatment scheduled for his prostate cancer. He will have them 5 days a week for 7 weeks. After he finishes up then will be scheduling mom's low back surgery mid to late April so I can build back up my PTO time here at work from her last surgery.

Best news I got recently was that there is no sign of cancer in my lungs 2 1/2 yrs later. Not sure if I shared that or not.

Have an amazing day.
