It was 94 degrees today. It was 99 yesterday and Monday. We haven't had rain in over a month. Our lake is drying up and the grass is all but dead. I am so ready for a change.

I'm ready for fall too. Our leaves are starting to change.

I haven't had to mow my yard in almost a month, the grass is already dead! Looks like someone set fire to the yards in my neighborhood! Been about 95 for a few weeks now, at least it's down from 100, would love to trade with the northerners for awhile. :)

Please, take our summer. We seldom had a day that the heat index was less than 100

We had a really hot dry summer but it started raining last Thursday and really hasn't stopped since. And it's a lot colder. I kind of like it.

We have had fall weather for over a week now...But the entire state of Louisiana is under a "burnban"....It has been so dry...We are about 14 inches behind in rainfall...I am thankful for the cooler weather...
