He looks excited for what the year will bring. A love of learning is written n his face. I taught for 35 years and always looked forward to those shinning faces. I hope he has a wonderful year.

He reminds me that when my grandchildren were little, I always took them to buy clothes for fist day of school. It is hot here in Oklahoma, so I could get new shorts or tees or jeans for the boys. Did this thru grade school. When one of them started college, I called him to see how it went and he said" fine, but I did not have a new outfit". He is 28 now and still wants grandma to buy new clothes. He has a great job now and just married, so we get a laugh out of this! Enjoy your little one, he will be in college before you know it!
