It is 90 degrees here and dry just as the desert suppose to be. I just bathed the dog and brushed him in the sun. Don't get washed away. It was windy here last week about 45mph.

We have almost gotten blown away here in Upshur Co. Then guess what, more rain, surprise, surprise, surprise. I am up so high that I do not have to worry about deep flooding, just massive puddles everywhere, but if I want to go to town, I gots to go down. This has sure been a crazy weather year or so. We have been "in the box" for tornado watch several times lately, but luckily, just hurricane winds.

Glad you are missing the mess. Its just windy and dark here. Not even a lot of rain yet.

It's raining to beat the band up here, and several of the roads around town are under water. Many thanks to my husband for replacing our sump pump last month; the new one hasn't stopped running in hours!
