Default Forks as a sewing guide

Was just watching Londa rohlfing on PBS It's Sew Easy. She was showing how to use forks to make pleats. Regular fork and a pickle fork and also used a hair pick. Was very interesting. Another tool from the kitchen table and vanity to help us in sewing and quilting. Pleated border maybe.

I can't ever think of any time I used pleating on a quilt. I must have missed this episode.

It's been decades but that solution sounds very familiar with respect to clothing construction. I guess I'm admitting to being old??? Not sure I'd attempt pleats in a quilt either but then again, ya just never know!

We do not get that show on PBS here in South Carolina. My friend goes to Pennsylvania to spent the summer. She told me she watches that on PBS while she is there. Wish they would have that on PBS here.
