Default Felt Celtic cross help

Hoping someone can help. A few years ago I saw in a magazine a felt wall hanging of a Celtic cross. They used a wood burner to kind of melt the felt in places to create this cross in the felt. I thought I had the magazine or at least the article. Now that I have the wood burner, I can't find the instructions and I can't find anything on the web. I can't think of how else to put it in the Google box. Any ideas?

I did not find the instructions for felt but there was a PDF for a full size Celtic Cross to make with a wood burner and styrofoam. It was in Google under A Haunted Halloween-Projects: Celtic Cross & Other Tombstones. I will try to add the address www.hectorturner.com/halloween/celtic.html

Thanks for your help. That looks like the same cross I remember, or at least it was close. Guess I will just experiment with scraps of felt to figure this out. Thanks.
