Default Dolphin Cross Stitch

Well, it's not a quilt, but it did take a long time to complete. Actually, it was a half done UFO when I came across the kit in my closet. With quilting taking a backseat to Mom's care lately, stitching in the evening has been calming and relaxing.

So beautiful! I love to do hand work in the evening.

Wow! It takes a lot of patience, I think, to cross stitch. Beautiful finish.

Super nice! My cross stitch time is very early morning (2am to 5am) when I can't sleep. Happens almost daily.

Pretty work, you could make a gallery of all your “marine” themed projects….quilting, stained glass, cross stitch….any other art forms?

Ha! Thanks, Thimblebug. I started looking at kilns for glass fusing, but I slapped my forehead because I don't need another hobby. But fused glass is so pretty...

Beautiful cross stitch. The detail on the dolphins is amazing. We all have our fall backs when quilting is not an option, mine is crocheting.

BTW, this kit was so old that the instructions stated for "questions to be mailed to..."! Way before the internet, I guess!
