Wink "Gee whiz!" crafts

the thread about craft shows got me thinking, it seems every year there is some small inexpensive craft that people make and others buy for the "gee whiz" factor. "Why didn't I think of that?" I thought I had seen it all until a lady came to our projects group with a little knitted square, tacked at the corners, and explained it slips over the spout of a tea pot to catch the drips. I think I would rather wipe the teapot than have to wash its little diaper or whatever you call it!!

Sounds interesting though. I might rather wash a small knitted square than the whole tablecloth.

One thing I saw that was selling like hotcakes was a balloon "yo yo". They had taken balloons and filled them half full of water, painted some swirly-Qs on them with paint pens, and attached a rubber band to the knot. Kids could put the band on their finger and bounce them up and down. The kids LOVED them and hardly a one passed the booth without buying one. I think they sold for $3, but everyone selling them sold out!

Smart idea...
